Man dies after waiting 22 hours at hospital -MSNBC

Well apparently an article in MSNBC dated August 19, 2008 states a 50 year old patient died after choking on his medication. The punchline? He had been sitting there for 22 hours. :/ I suppose the surveillance showed staff a few feet away never attending to the patient and playing cards. What a wonderful health care system we have in place.

Luckily, their federally funding is at risk... and I quote:

"Federal officials have threatened to cut off funding because of Sabock’s death and a report that a physician punched a patient after the teen bit the doctor."

Now for the punching the physician did, yikes! There are meds to put your patients very near a coma but you don't have to go and punch the patient. Sheesh, well.. future physicians... take notes on the mistakes on the some of the worst health care providers in the country... so we WILL NOT be like them when we start serving humanity.
